I just took my Vette out of storage, and went for a ride to McDonalds! Yay Me!

Got out on the main road and apparently someone else had the idea to take their new Z06 out for a ride too... We were playing with eachother my 77' only has a 4 speed so the RPMs tend to stay high and its VERY loud, while his 6 speed has a grumble and was almost too quiet. I know this is the HHR site but i had to share my elation with you all

Yeah, they look great and are fun to drive until you pull into the gas station. My friend rebuilt a totalled '80 Vette. We drove it from St Louis to Kansas City and back. It was a fun trip but not a car I'd drive on the daily commute.
