Its a 1977 Nissan Skyline 2000 GT. I can't find any info if this car is a C210 or a C211. On Wiki they have a similiar car listed as a C211. Never the less, you pretty much got it, except your picture has the mirrors on the doors instead of the hood.

Thanks. I was going to give up on this one. When I typed in bugeye as a search parameter it got me nowhere. Then I thought it could be some kind of jeepster. After that I was done, but I looked closely at the picture one last time and noticed a bird hood ornament. So I used that as a search parameter and a picture came up with a similiar car with Crosley hubcaps. It was pretty much downhill from there.
