I think we'll all agree that there have been some pretty ridiculous lines written into movies over the years. I blame on the drugs. Of course, they're all walking picket lines today!
Drugs are sometimes the culprit. I usually like films with ridiculous premises and over the top dialog. When it comes to dialog I am personally getting tired of Quentin Tarantino’s overly pretentious "normal conversation" dialog. He ruined Death Proof with it. Sometimes I wish the characters would just shut up in his films. I hope the writers strike is wrapped up sometime soon. There is a lot of talent picketing that is just going to waste.
