NCAA Basketball Championship
Up with the blue and gold!
It always seems to us on the West Coast that the NCAA has an East Coast bias for all sports--but isn't a PAC-10 team slated to win it all, UCLA?
As a UC (Berkeley/CAL) alumna, I support our sister campus, UCLA. I am a supporter of the PAC (except for Stanfurd and usc) and I think the blue and the gold will prevail!
And my Golden Bears are still plodding through the NIT...last time we were in it, we won it! Go Bears!
(truth be told, I prefer football to basketball...good luck to all the teams!)

Angie, what east coast bias? LOL. Been happening for years! Ucla looks great, but being from VA. and WVA, I gotta go with the Mountianeers.they took out Duke today! Late, missed you today at Derelicts? What's up with that? Lol, Todd(Uma)
Wow, all 1 seeds make the final four for the first time since the Tournament expanded to 64 teams! I think North Carolina and Memphis are a step above UCLA and kansas, and they win big to get to the championship game. Of course being from Missouri my hate for kansas runs deep, and it would be a sin to root for the great evil.
And nothing would be more hilarious than to watch ku get beat by their former coach who bolted for a better job at Carolina.
Rock Chalk Chicken Hawk!
Go Tar Heels!

Well, I gotta give Memphis mad props for stomping Texas- that sure ends the whole discussion of who should have been the #1 seed. But to say they are "a step above" UCLA is a big stretch. UCLA is just starting to play and I believe they will win the semi-final game. Now, UNC is another story- what with all those California boys playing for them
- but they can be beat! Either way, we should see some good games this weekend. Good luck to all!
