NCAA Basketball Tournament

Has anyone set up a group for us on any of the website contests? Would anyone want to join?

There is somthing seriously wrong with a person from the great state of Missouri with that ugly, mythical chickenhawk as his avatar. You sir are a traitor!

Disclaimer: for those who don't know about or understand the Mizzou/kansas rivalry, ignore this message.

MizzouHHR, at first I thought you were talking to me then I reread your post.

I was a die-hard Mizzou fan for years. It's nice to cheer for a winner sometimes. Yes, Mizzou had some great basketball teams under Norm Stewart but there have been some lean years since his departure.

Sorry Mizzou. Born and raised in the great state of Kansas just 30 miles east of Lawrence, until about three years ago when I followed my wife to Missery. I still catch alot of ribbing for living on the wrong side of the state line, but I enjoy it....and it's cheaper!!

At least you pronounce it MissourE not MissourA like former governor Kit Bond. I'll never understand where that comes from!

A lot of missourians pronounce it missoura, and it drives me nuts. Even Norm Stewart called missouri missoura. Just part of the accent I guess, but I never have liked it.

jayhawker pronounced it missery, which I find hard to believe missouri could be missery after living in kansas.

"I've lived in kansas, thats as bad as it gets" Dwight Gooden.

Norm Stewart was once asked how to find Mahattan, ks. His response was turn right at the first tree.

Sandy, I'm a huge fan of Mizzou Basketball and season ticket holder. The Quin Snyder years were very tough, but we have a new coach in town, and things are about to take a turn for the better. Our new coach (Mike Anderson) will have us going the right direction very soon.

Just to make myself clear Mizzou, this is all in good fun. I'm actually surprised Norm made it as far as Manhattan. I really thought he would have fallen in one of the potholes on the Missouri side of I-70.
There's a worse place to live.....West Texas.

Jayhawker, yes, it's all in good fun. I love the rivalry, and the history that goes along with it. I have no come back for the potholes comment. Our roads are terrible. I will be driving through kansas in may on my way to Colorado in May. First time I have been west of Topeka while driving. Looking forward to it. BTW good luck tommorrow night against niagara, those first round games can be tough . At least they don't start with B, like Bradley or Bucknell.
