Never again GM

After the way you send out blanket bulletins to deny warranty coverage for issues that are due to manufacturing and cheap chinese parts, you have lost my business.

I will buy a chrysler before I buy a GM vehicle again, but the worst part for you is the other people that I speak to and tell them of my experience with your company.

Case in point, My co-worker is considering a full size extended cab 4x4 Pick-up and i had a nice long chat with them at work last night and showed them your blanket bulletin.

They were narrowed down to a Silverado, F-150 and Nissan Titan

was it really worth $663 to lose a $30,000 sale?

its a bulletin that covers all prior years of a vehicle from 2012 down.

look up #00-03-10-002f Models 2012 and prior GM cars and trucks.

A blanket covers every year and model

Bulletin states that wheels damaged by acidic cleaners are not covered by warranty. Why should they be covered?

because I never.. ever.. use any wheel cleaner on them.. just soap and water.. as i told the service manager, district rep and customer service agent.

I don't need to lie. its the principle of the matter.

Find a new dealer. Or you could tell him to check out TSB #00-05-22-002M, which states that the rotors are covered during the 3/36 warranty.

secondly if i did use cleaner all 4 would be damaged since it is all the same coating on the wheel
Ok. That bulletin stated the dealer could replace the wheel once under goodwill for customer satisfaction. By your post I guess they didn't offer that to you. Did you give them any reason to not want to help you?

they offered a 50/50 split and at 26,000 miles it is not good enough. I also have a set of steelies that i swap over in the winter time to keep the sand and salt from ruining them. So that is not a reason either.

Are you serious Chevymgr?

I had my rotors warping at 35,500~ miles and I took it to them for an oil change, and in the same token asked if they would check my rotors and replace them if needed, they said that they were NOT a warranty item.
