GTR 0-60 -> 2.6 seconds
Camaro 0-60 -> 3.8 seconds
not sure about that video, but the GTR would win hands down, it has beat a lot of records against cars that cost 2,3,4x that much
lol we're going way off topic here haha

ok well lets compare it to the 2014 corvette...even that has a/c, gps, sound system and it costs less than the camaro at $67,000...not much less but you are getting much more car for the money imo

Just giving you a hard time about the Nissan but people that would be looking for COPO type cars wouldn't necessarily be looking fo those so called 'creature comforts' you mention. That and the only 'vette I would want costs well over 100K. Creature comforts and 638HP....

I have 1.5 years left of school and have already started filling my savings account for my Z/28. Provided the collector goons dont run up the price of these, I WILL have one of these.
I get the question a lot from friends, about the cost compared to other cars, and creature comforts etc. For me, it is the difference in driver preference. I am not buying the Z28 for comfort, I am buying this because it is a drivers car. It is what I have been waiting for, for a very long time. High revving small block, 6speed, track suspension, track brakes, track tires, and weight reduction. I could care less about a/c and radio, I want this car for once purpose, to feel and hear everything without distraction.

Yes for another $25,000 over the $75,000 Camaro you can go 2.8. The GTR that did that number is $99,530.

Not on several spots the car gets airborne. Even the F1 cars can come off the ground making laps here.
The was one shot of the Z06 lap where it was a good 6"-8" off the ground.
The reason the companies run here is if you can make it handle here it will work in the real world well. The surface here is ruff and uneven. The grip changes and the loads and corners are all so different. Tune it right here and you have a killer car.
This is why GM took many of the best corners here and put them into the new Lutz Ring loop at the GM test track in Warren. They can set the cars up there and fly them over and they are good to go on tuning once at the track.
I love the video of the HHR SS lap.
Note anything under 9 Min is a great lap. The HHR SS did it in 8:43. That is a time with some Lotus and even a older NSX Even the Camaro SS was only 8:21 if I recall.
