New GM Remote

I tried and tried to get this picture to post but it wouldn't. So I made it a PDF to post and then had to drastically reduce the file size.

This is a new remote that GM is offering for 2007 and newer vehicles.

The key fob transmitter provides immediate visual and audio confirmation that a key fob command (like start vehicle, lock/unlock doors, etc.) was received. The large, easy-to-read LCD screen displays status/data when within range of the vehicle such as Fuel Level, Tire Pressure, Odometer Reading (accurate within 1 mile), Clock/Remote Start Countdown Timer, and Key Fob Battery Life Indicator. Customers with vehicles equipped with steering wheel controls (UK3) can even scroll through their pre-set radio stations (excluding HHR & G6.)

* Operating range is up to three times as far as original factory remote keyless entry.

But the kicker is that the retail suggested price is $150 to $250 (depending on model) plus another $125-$200 to install the module required to work it and then programming of it.

The HHR part number is 19157234 (suggested retail $150) and the vehicle must have remote start (AP3 option). It will not work on any panel models.

Click the file to see a picture of it.

two questions......
1) how does it measure tire pressure if 2007 dont come with that on the dic?
2) does the statement at the end of the description "excluding hhr and G6" for the unit or for the last radio control.

1) It doesn't.
2) Scrolling through radio pre-set does not work on HHR and G6.
