new panel "toon"


I photoshopped up an existing toon to look more like my ride. I remember when making a 3 bar grille was all the rage. I don't see much about them now.

I've started working on mine. I spent Sat peeling the chrome off as it will be color matched to the body. I'm also removing the bowtie.
Pics will come when I complete the project.

I cut a recess in the bowtie to stick in a old vette emblem. I think this emblem was also used on some early HiPo passenger cars.

Looking forward to the pics. everybody seems to put their own personal spin on these projects.
I think if I would do another I would add some led back light to the bow tie

Speedwagen- I remember when you were making yours.. Been a while ago. They still look killer..

And agree don't seem to be as many making them these days. PS: I like your "toon"..

I didn’t cut it , just sanded and painted the OEM chrome grille

It’s kinda my trademark now! Definitely not an original idea.
