Orlando - Rondo, all they did was add an L and A and mixed up the other letters.

Looks better than the concept photos IMO.

But if I'm buying a larger wagony thing these days, it's a Ford Flex... I LOVE the retro boxy thing going on.

i like it. i wish they offered a "SS" model. maybe one with a little more impressive HP numbers. 163HP diesel is the best they have? maybe the whole fuel economy thing has played a part

Concept HHR vs. Final version - They do it all the time. I sure prefer the concepts, but it's always amazing what can be done with our cars to make them turn heads.

The first thing I saw was a modified Aveo. It looks like it should run on a 3 cylinder engine. Ick. Yuck. Gag.

Comparing it to a Kia Rondo strikes a chord with me. Exactly what purpose does the Rondo serve? It has less room inside than our HHRs and Kia's own Soul, and the interior space on the Soul is poor. Sorry, but this looks like the same type of vehicle ... why would I buy it over, say, a Kia Sportage or a Toyota Rav4? It'll probably be about the same price.

I'm disappointed. GM's styling has certainly been improving in the last couple of model years. The new Equinox is head-and shoulders above the previous model. The Traverse is miles ahead of other SUV styling. The new Lacrosse is flat out gorgeous. Not to mention the Camaro and all of the Cadillac line.

Toyota's been going backwards. The Highlander looks bland and dull compared to the previous model. The new 4runner is butt ugly. And the Corolla has always been a style-less jelly bean and nothing has changed there.

the Orlando is not bigger. It about the same size as the HHR. ALso less than half the price of the Flex. So it is in a totally different class.
