I kind of thought so - the rolling codes would render the code grabbers useless. However, I am surprised that rolling codes in RKE's were implemented so long ago!

 

(un-related) but on the news, they said thieves can now stand behind you at say a check out line, & scan your credit card or debit card info w/out even touching you..

News said if you carried more than 1 card, it made it difficult for the crooks..

I should be Ok then.....

Crooks never sleep...Kinda like rust.

 

I only use cash 99% of the time, credit cards are too easy to go bonkers with, just have 1 for on-line orders and the occasional airport car rental.

 

I saw this also, it only works with the cards that you can quick scan. I forget what the symbol on the card looks like if you have it. I checked both my dept and credit card and neither have that. If yours does, just fold a piece of tin foil and it blocks the scanner.

I did get a laugh when I heard them actually say tin foil. Protects your cards and your head from scans.....
