yeah but almost every team stays within the leagues limits. whether its acting too much to get a foul call, creating a "fight" to get the other team off their game, or straight trash talking. what the Pats did is as bad as steroids and as bad as gambling on their own team. in fact i am sure they gambled on their own team with the insight they had.

i also have no doubt the players had no clue other than them thinking their staff was the best, but someone at the very top knows otherwise. this is the only trophy you are gonna get...

CHAMPS--BIG BLUE...Giants were the better team on Sunday.I think if we dont lose spags as a coach,we will be a playoff team next year,we are a young team that can get better,,& once you get in the playoffs..any thing can happen...Just like we saw yesterday

How do you know that the Packers did not do something to gain an advantage this year??? They were a pretty good team after pretty much being a real sorry team the last few years. Could they have done something similar to what the Patriots did but just not get caught????
Goose
Who knows if & when any team is cheating unless they get caught.
I said if they get caught cheating they do not deserve to win anything or be in the league. I would hope teams have enough respect for themselves and their fans to be honest and win fairly!

As far as "EVERY team trying to gain an advantage over other teams in any way they can" no team has to cheat unless they are dishonest!! Be confident and try your hardest and play the best you can without having to cheat to win!

As far as the "cheating" goes, it must be commonplace, because no action was taken at all. I would atLEAST expected that one game to be forfeited to the Jets, but I guess the idea is"the Pats would have beat them anyway" (The Jets were kind of a punching bag this year).

If some college found their valedictorian cheating on just 1 answer of a final exam, do you think their reaction should be "well, he was gonna ace it anyway". I think their reaction would be to rip up the paper and give them an F. I sincerely hope the Pats record will be "18-1*" , so instead of the smug ****iness they showed most ofthe media, they can try to explain the asterisk for the rest of their lives.

What does this post mean? Aren't all Pro Players paid to entertain us. Don't players get traded in all sports on all teams and the same with firing? So aren't all teams "bought"? I must of missed something here.

If you think think that any professional sports team in any sport does not try it's best to get a leg up on any opponent you better stick to Pop Warner football and it's kind

How about Ron Jaworski saying that he would look to the sidelines and if the backup QB dropped a red towel he knew a blitz would be coming..or George Halas sending Bear employees into other teams practices dressed as ushers

How is it teams film each other all the time from the stands and boxes...how is it that baseball players steal signs and signals

What I'm saying is if you think that teams aren't trying to do whatever it takes to win you don't need to be watching any pro sport......

Sorry folks...a game film doesn't make the Patriots slaughter the Steelers, Skins, Chargers...and whoever else they killed...Pats ran into the hottest team in football much like the Rockies and Cardinals did in the WS when they played the Red Sox.

I'll say it again..hats off to the G-Men for winning it all...quite a run and a accomplishment...

I can't wait for next year already...look out rest of the NFL....again

Go Pats! Yea right ha. Look out next year. All I heard this year was they were going to win it all and they were by far the best team I guess that was wrong. The NY Giants were the best team this year. Accept it just like other had to accept there blemished coach. That situation is not over yet. Apparently he crossed the line, no other coach in the NFL has ever been fined 500K as well as they lost there first round draft pick for next year. They are an aging team and with the first round choice gone and finsinhiing the year as they did there drafts will be way down. Tough to replace old guys when you can't get a pick till the later draft. Oh well they will be a 4-5 loss team next year. G O C O W B O Y S !

Thanks, I forgot the Pats kicked the living crap out of the Cowboys this year also...I knew I left someone out

Actually if you followed football you would know that they own the 7th pick in the draft (via San Fran)...my guess is they will trade down for a bunch of picks so that sort of helps out with the aging problem.....let's see Brady was a 6th rounder(to comment on your later in the draft analysis)...how did that turn out for them?

I'm not trying to skirt the fact that the G-Men beat the Pats....if Asante could have held on to that lollipop that Eli tossed up there or if 4 Patriots could have sacked Manning before he threw that ball to Tyree who made a circus catch...(#85) then we would have a different game...it was only 3 points folks with Manning having a Brady like drive to win it for the Giants...kudos to them

Study how the salary cap works and how the Patriots manage it better than any other team in the NFL and then let me know about how to rebuild a team...don't you worry about the Pats...they will just fine

Remember the Giants would not have even been in the SB unless Romo and your "Boys" didn't cough up a giant furball against them...

Wow! Real sour grapes here...The Giants basically made Brady one with the turf all day long. I've never seen him more"Brady like" before. You mention kudos to Giants, prefaced by 2 disses, then bash Cowboys too.

During regular season Giants got beat by Cowboys, Green Bay & Pats, then handed their asses to them on the rematch in the playoffs.

Payback is a beeyatch! Kudos to Giants.

Sour Grapes is saying the Giants got lucky and the Pats ruled, got screwed whatever....The Patriots played like sheeet and had a lead with just under 3 minutes to go......

The G-Men's line made the difference...they shut down Mauroney and hammered Brady all day....but even by doing that they still only won by 3 points

The Giants were the one team I did not want to face in the SB....you never want to play a team that you just played so recently....

Oh and don't let the facts get in the way Even playing as bad as they did, they STILL had a lead until the 35 second mark...that my friend is not sour grapes...it is a fact...take the emotion out of it and it is what it is....Giants scored more points and won the game..pure and simple fact....but don't throw out all the other facts inbetween
