You don't know much about football, do you? It's great that you want to root for your fav team but you are just being foolish. The bolts did want Eli but he didn't want them. Then they were too cheap to sign a proven QB like Brees. Anyone who calls Norv Turner the Savior does not have a clue about what is going on. Who wouldn't love to inherit a team that won thier division and went to the playoffs (Even though they choked and folded at home against a team that they swore they would kill). You are nothing but a homer. When you want to talk

about the NFL, without being lame, then we will talk. Until then your opinion means nothing to me. Norv Turner if thats your savior then it will be a long time before you are saved.
Oh and by the way, what did Philip Rivers do in college to warrent him being a #1 .

Keep dreamin that the Boltz wanted Sheli If that makes you feel better about having a quarterback with zero leadership skills...I'll admit that I'm a homer and as any Charger homer knows, Eli was never part of the picture. Go do a google on Philips college career and compare it with Sheli's, you will be suprised. Good luck with Sheli. We'll see what happens once the season starts But my opinion, which means nothing to you, says that Elisha P. Manning will be benched by mid-season

Chief is dead on...Chargers wanted Eli , no bones about it but he wanted the bright lights of New York. They would have signed him in a heartbeat if he wanted to play there.

Colts are still in the upper tier of the NFL but they just lost too much in Free agency...Kato June leaving was a huge blow to them.

Patriots got to where they got with absolutely no receivers...Reche Caldwell as your #1??????? Holy crap.... Chargers should have won but wet themselves on the big stage. No Rodney Harrison either

I think he is just trying to get our goat about The Norvolous one.....anyone who thinks that guy is head coach material let alone the Savior......... He really doesn't believe it...he can't...that is like saying Matt Millen is a great NFL exec

Now i get it NG. I didn't know you were 12 years old. Just think, in 4 years you will be old enough to drive your HHR. Oh and by the way you do know that Eli went to Ole Miss don't you. Not exactly a college football power house. But hey, if saying that your team is better off with Rivers than they were with Bree's makes you feel better, than go right ahead. Marty might not be able to win playoff games, but at least he got you there. We will see how far you get with good old NORM (The Savior ) gets you.

Dude I've been a fan of football since I was twelve years old, BTW...that was back in 1982 Talking smack amongst other teams is all in good fun. I'm a die-hard fan of the NFL and a die-hard fan of the Chargers regardless if they win or lose. I still remember the 1-15 season like it was yesterday

I was a Bree's supporter and still follow him with the Saints. But no use crying over spilled milk. Both teams did well last year so I think it worked out great for both the Chargers and the Saints. Any Charger fan of more than ten years can endure most anything negative regarding football, even losing a Pro-Bowl QB. But both parties have moved on and will hopefully one day meet in the Superbowl

Last time the Steelers met the Boys in a Super Bowl was around 1995 and the Boys came out on top. If you want to go back 30 years and talk then lets bring up who has more rings? Oh yea that would be the COWBOYS!
Isn't the NFL great. Fan loyality runs deep. A great game and a great way to welcome fall.
