I am thrilled to hear that you are getting it fixed, and other than the freak of nature, the absolute ironic thought that the antenna HAD to find you gleaming black HHR, and the thought of barely "owning" it yet...no matter how bad you think it is...

Ok...that was a poor attempt to humor you. I am sure you could look at anything to be as "on the bright side"...but no...this was a bad thing to happen to you. My condolensces.

I agree with the comments above to now take advantage of a bad situation, and make a positive. Perhaps, if you have ever considered any customizing, now is the time...you could take the $250 the landlady saved you, and discuss custom paint options with the body shop. Perhaps some graphics? or install some decals, or whatever....

you've got 5 years and 7 months to go...and as nice as a black HHR is...why not consider having one slightly different?

Hope all turns out well for you...AND turns around for you. Having bad luck is just that...you do have some good luck...you have your own HHR...and I consider that lucky.
