This is NOT goodbye....

Folks, I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but another has fallen to the fold of trade-in.

Stiglitz has served me well, and will be sorely missed.

Please help me welcome his successor, a 2015 Chevy Cruze.

That's what I said OB.

Thank you! I couldn't pass it up! $2,500 for trade in, and 15% of MSRP cash back brought this nicely equipped 1LT Cruze to $17,745. MSRP of $23,383.

Nice. I've had a Cruze 1.4T as a loaner for about a month now(don't ask...), and it's actually really nice. Surprising low-mid range torque, nice handling for something not really sporty, and a pretty well finished interior. Good little cars. Now if they would just make one with a little more oomph, that would be nice.

Niw, congrats on the new ride Kev!

Lawdog, I would have given you $2500 if it was auto and you were closer.

They said with the myriad of suspension problems that plague the HHR, they would only give me $1,000. I told them that wasn't going to cut it. I only owed $814.13 on it.

Nice work, Kevin. You will enjoy the Cruze and the new car warranty (I'm assuming, you didn't say if it was used, but the warranty carries over to the new owner). So if you have suspension noises, at least the dealer will be responsible.

Drove a Cruze for about 2 weeks on one of my assignments. Really liked it, but a little small for me. Come to think of it you are taller and bigger than me . How does it fit for you?

Now it needs a name, how about the "Cruze-Missile"?
