Snoopy- Very Cool, & I'm jealous now.. 
I have avoided test-driving either the Chevy or the GMC, cause I know I'll become obsessed with having one.
The GMC on the showroom floor was a 4x4 (which I have no use for) but it was very laid inside & out.
Very Sharp Trucks.

Manic, thanks. No Name or Club stickers. As soon as I feel up to it, I am going to remove the badging. Sorry, but I love the clean look.

I can tell you from what I know and what I see, the new Colorado and Canyon are both nice. But if you have the option, I hear that the 2.8L Duramax is worth it.

I "bounced" between the GMC and Chev. The GMC appears to be a more detailed truck, with a really nice interior and leather seats for the off road package. I hated the grill however. The Chev. doesn't have leather available currently for the off road, which is a disappointment, especially when they offer it in the next trim level down.....go figure. But I liked the overall exterior package of the off road Chev. So I went in that direction. Had my order in for a couple of weeks (and has been factory accepted) and my contact at the dealer now says Chevrolet will offer leather later in the year....again, go figure.

2016 Chevrolet Colorado Z51 Crewcab, 2 wheel drive (I like Sleeper, have no use for 4 wheel drive) Hot Red in color with special black trim out (the off road Z51 comes with some black out, such as the grill, etc. Ordered it with pretty much everything available except the tent.
Trailering package, side rails, bed liner, tonneau cover, splash guards, etc, etc,
Oh and Lawdogs......I'm hearing that the Duramax will NOT be available to the general public. FLEET ORDERS ONLY....initially. But alas, I also have no need for a diesel.

After GM killed off the S-10 & Sonoma, I saw what followed & was sickened by their looks.
They have come a long way since back then. Now they are looking very Sharp again.
The GMC does seem more detailed, & the price tag to match.. Yeow!!

Congratulations Lawdog! You have always been very friendly and helpful and I thank you. Now you're embarking on a whole new adventure! Don't let Sleeper tease ya, I've been married almost 27 years and my hubby still gives me butterflies.
