just figured i'd update everyone. Thanks to dj I got in the same mindset as him and I've lost 12lbs so far, and I'm not starving myself just eating healthier and excercising and ontop of that I've almost quit smoking (its sooooo hard to do them both at once)
Yes, beware of that trap. When you stop smoking, that's your first reaction is to eat. I smoked at one time, thankfully I started late (28) and quit early (38) so the key is to find something to keep your hands busy. I started painting fantasy figs or head to the garage to do anything that would keep your mind off it. No patch, no gum, and it wasn't easy...but it is very doable. Remember, breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day. High protien, stay away or limit your carbs here. Too many carbs too early makes the body think to start storing fat. High protien/whole grains/fruit excellerate metabolism and get's the body in a fat burning mode. That's the key kiddies, get that metabolism up, find sometime to exercise and choose your food wisely. A zone bar is a good snack between breakfast and lunch...just echoing what gets drilled in my head everyday! lol Keep up the good work you guys!
