Oldsmobile Centennial

I was actually at the Centennial Celebration in 1997 with my 1971 Olds 442 Convertible. My son and I were able to get a ride in/on a Curved Dash. My Classic Car actually caught it on camera and it was shown on the full version of this episode. The YouTube video starts after the intro to the show with the clip of my son and me.

CA Blue- That had to be cool to get a ride in a Curved Dash..
I see several Olds 442, can't pinpoint yours & you & your son. Pretty awesome being filmed for sure.

Yes, it was cool and the chance of a lifetime to get a ride. My son was 15 at the time and he was pretty stoked as well!!

There were over 2,200 Oldsmobile there, mine was not one shown in the video and unfortunately, they started the episode before the intro where you see my son and me in/on the Curved Dash.

Bummer, I guess I misunderstood your 1st post then.. Still cool to be on the episode & your Son & '71 442 drop-top..
I've only owned 2 Olds' so far, a 98 & later a Delta 88. Both were good machines.
