Pickup Sales?

Does anyone know where or how to find current pickup truck sales for this year from all the manufacturers. I just read this article http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/19932409/ and I'm wondering how the others are doing compared to GM. Thanks.

Probably just the same. Pickup sales slow down during the summer anyway, but the housing and new construction market is slowing down, so the commercial sales are falling off quite a bit. GM usually sells more trucks than anyone else anyway, so it's more a matter of what percentage drop they're having compared to everyone else.

BTW, I was looking at trucks this last weekend because I'm thinking about trading the HHR for a full-size truck and a boat. Our local Chevy lot also sells Toyota. They had all these stickers and fact statements all over the Tundra trying to unload 'em. Unfortunately for Toyota, the Tundra was about $8-9k over a similarly equipped GM or Ford truck. No wonder they aren't selling.

this is a pretty good place to look. Just look for June sales for Chevy, GMc, Ford, Dodge, Toyota, and Nissan separetly and then add then up. Each months report by each manufacturer also includes YTD(year to date) information. Have fun.

Thanks, great information there. I'm glad to see GM is cutting back there rental sales. Smart move for the long run.

Most people are less accurate than you and belittle fleet sales. Most fleet sales are quite profitable its just the rental sales as you identified that are sold so cheap and supposedly do all the harm.
