OH let the do gooders of American unite. When are we going to STOP making new laws when all we have to do is enforce the ones we have. Make the people that do the wrong thing PAY THE PRICE. IF we keep making new laws for all the wrongs, soon we won't have any freedom. How about some common sinse and respect for others. If you screw with someone be prepared to pay the price X 10. Give the victum the right to defend himself and loved ones. We have already given up to many fredoms for the sake of the law. If you rob someone and your shot in the back, tuff luck, you shouldn't have robbed the person in the first place.

Bud, I could not have said it better. I raised American Staff's (Pit Bulls) for over 25 years and have never had a problem with them biting anyone. Is the gun at fault for being fired by the criminal or is the criminal? This one here can go on forever!

I don't care if it is breaking into a house, mugging someone or pickpocketing someone...if you make a decision to commit a crime there is always the distinct possibility that your life will end...hell that goes for something as simple as egging someones house....not saying you should get shot for it but there is that possibility that something really bad will happen to you....

I just stumbled across this thread and I have to say that pit bulls should not be banned I have one, she is the biggest baby I have. I also have a spaniel mix, a min pin, and a chihuahua, and the pit is the nicest of all four. The min pin and the chihuahua are the meanest dogs I have. Bring a kid into my yard when all four are out and the pit and spaniel will want to play while the other two want to bark and get their hair all raised up in back I agree with others here though it is the owners fault, not the dog breed itself. Just my opinion though.
