they aren't worth the money
went out , i would be out $1200 , without a warantee. i can rebuild an engine but i have never built a tv. the one i'm looking at is a refurbished $2800 set. for $1099+tax. i don't think i could get it fixed for less than $200 , which is what they want for the 2yr warantee that covers anything/everything. without it all you really have is 30days , dealing with the manufacturer can be a big pain.

yea, but best buy , circuit city.. those kinda stores .. they sweet talk you to buying these extended warranty's . and when you call with a problem they normally try to find a way to not warranty it, ask those who've worked in those stores. even my gf bre worked at best buy for a long time, in most cases it is a waste of money. just my two pennies

i am just going by what the salesperson told me at tiger. and my reciept says replacement. this is really all i have. if that is not enough , i know how to put up a real big fuss. maybe i can load a new tv before the law gets there , and if not , i have a reciept.
