I prefer my PC - but then again, it's hard to get a true driving sim with a console.

Have you played grand turismo HD for ps3....?

Been playing GTR2. Grand Turismo and TOCA feel similar to me. I have not played HD on the PS3, but it'd be hard to drag me away from GTR2.

Got my PS3 before christmas, playing Marvel:UA right now and loving it.....I need a bigger TV, 42" just doesn't cut it anymore!!!

 

I know this is an old thread, but I just got a PS-3 from my son for Christrmas 2009, along with MotoGP, and Need for Speed Shift. Both pretty cool, and having actually raced at Laguna Seca I have to say the tracks are right on and it is awesome detail at 1080p and our big screen. So, what are your favorite latest racing programs?

Secondly, the standard control seems ok for bikes, but just doesn't seem right for cars. My nephew claims the best setup is dedicated multi screen, and I should build a frame and install a "dash" with a F1 style steering wheel. Tempting to do that, and wouldn't be too difficult. Thoughts and experience?

 

I have one. I mainly use it for watching Blu-Ray movies right now, as it was (and maybe still) the best Blu-Ray player at the time I bought it. Definitely good hardware, but it does need some more game titles that are designed specifically for it, because some of the ones now are ported from the Xbox 360, and don't take full advantage of the system.

Haha...I just noticed that this is almost two years old myself. :)

 

I really bought it just for Grand Theft Auto 4. I beat the game within a month or two I believe, when it first came out. Occasionally I will turn it on, but that's really the only game I play. I also have Guitar Hero III, but I rarely touch it.

Waiting for Gran Turismo 5 to come out, and I hear another Grand Theft Auto game is in the works!
