Unfortunately I stepped away from it for about 10 years, and only to return to it and find how much has been whittled away by "sane" gun control laws in the state of California.

I hope this thread doesn't start into a flame war.

I echo your opinion. Gun laws are useless. I own a few and will never give up my right to defend my family.

Many years ago I heard Cal. was like granola. Fruits, nuts and flakes. Guv Arnold is currently having trouble finding money to support the illegals that have run up his health, school and prison costs so much. I am so sick of everything I hear about that state that when I heard they had an earthquake, I thought ............. well, I did!

Yeah, sometimes I think the county of San Diego should split off and form it's own state. Snickjer snicker - sane gun laws - can't purchase a centerfire rifle that has a thumbhole or pistol stock, can't get replacement 30 round magazines new for my little old Ruger 1022 ....ooh if it has that it's dangerous and must be an assault weapon...WTF?

I use a candidate's 2A legislative record to help decide my vote. Unfortunately it doesn't look good this year in Presidential Elections and Arnie betrayed my trust in him.

Now, now!
Native Orange County/SoCal girl here who is as blue as you can get--and I've heard my home called everything derogatory from 'foreigners' from other states! (don't like the laws, don't live here)

BUT, it may surprise you, I am pro-gun.
My dad would go deer hunting and there was always at least some kind of firearm in the house. I have never had a problem with them and still don't. He showed me how to be safe with it and at one point, was going to hunting with him (my mom wouldn't let me).

So, call CA whatever you want--NOTHING would make me leave or ever consider living anywhere else--and I am pro-gun.

PRO GUN! I'm from Texas what'd ya expect!
I beleive that not only is our right as Americans to own guns but it is also our duty. Every redblooded American Citizen should own and know how to use a firearm. I think everyone that steps on an airplane should be issued a handgun; no more hijackings! I have three teenagers and I raise them all around firearms. They all (even my daughter) know how to properly handle, fire, and clean a firearm.
