Pro Gun or Anti Gun
Many years ago I heard Cal. was like granola. Fruits, nuts and flakes. Guv Arnold is currently having trouble finding money to support the illegals that have run up his health, school and prison costs so much. I am so sick of everything I hear about that state that when I heard they had an earthquake, I thought ............. well, I did!

Seriously, it is easier to blame the 'other' for out of control '(insert problem here)'.
The biggest expenditure is our prison system, with education getting less money every year. This all started with Pete Wilson who felt building prisons was more lucrative (crime pays??!!
lack of educational opportunities = propensity for crime/prison
It is exhausting having to defend where I live. Don't like it, don't live here.
But back to guns...I'm for'm.
Oh yeah--I LOVE my HHR and I like granola

Now, now!
Native Orange County/SoCal girl here who is as blue as you can get--and I've heard my home called everything derogatory from 'foreigners' from other states! (don't like the laws, don't live here)
BUT, it may surprise you, I am pro-gun.
My dad would go deer hunting and there was always at least some kind of firearm in the house. I have never had a problem with them and still don't. He showed me how to be safe with it and at one point, was going to hunting with him (my mom wouldn't let me).
So, call CA whatever you want--NOTHING would make me leave or ever consider living anywhere else--and I am pro-gun.

Oh @ngie.. You surprise me..in a good way.
PRO!!!
I live in the Peoples Republic of Mass-holes, they try to make it so hard to own a gun, the Gov is packed into the state budget to raise the FID card fee (TAX) from 100 bucks every 4 years to a whopping $250.!!!!!!!!!
We have 60 house reps already trying to remove it from the budget, thank goodness!
I just bought a Henry "Big Boy" 44mag for hunting in Maine, I refuse to hunt in a state who's laws makes you unload your gun, lock it in a case, and lock the ammo up, before you cross a road, ANY road, that could be a logging trail. Try that while hunting! And you can only use shotguns or black powder. Pffft to that!
I could move to N.H. but I would have to pay non- resident income tax so I am not going to do that. So I tough it out!
NRA baby! Washington D.C. , that decision will set the stage for a showdown here in Mass.

I bit the bullet on that one....worth it to me. When thy said that any Glock made before October 1998 was a well made safe firearm and every Glock made after that was an unsafe illegal gun to own...well that made up my mind that it was time to go (among tons of other reasons) Where the hell is the logic in that???
I smile every day that I drive over the border back into NH
10 dollars for a 4 year permit

All bets are off in my mind when you decide to invade someones home...right or wrong you might end up dead. Guess some lowlife scumbags are willing to roll those dice.

Now I get it ...you must be a criminal defense lawyer

I haven't had one yet who's been bold enough to break into a house when someone's been at home. Almost none of them are dumb enough to do that around here. Most of the time they just open unlocked doors on vehicles at Wal-Mart and steal whatever's in there.
Now that's a spiritual person

Danko, maybe quicken your reflexes? When you hear about our wonderful state of Cali, you can hit the mute button faster as to not be so sickened. Every state has it's issues. It all starts at the top and trickles down.
