Road damage

My 07 hhr took some road damage yesterday. We are on the road on a month long rv trip towing the hhr behind us exploring the east coast area.

Somewhere in Florida I found part of a truck tire that hit the hhr lower left corner.

Looks like I will need some paint work and a new fog lamp.

Ouch - a good buffing out might save some repaint work?

Those "road gators" don't cut you any slack, they take their toll on anything

make sure that is realy damaged varnish and / or paint.
Perhaps only a rubber trace on the surface of the lacquer
fingernail to scrape or rub the liquid to remove bitumen stains

But ... at the bottom corner likely really hurt

We had a truck tire piece in Arizona take out the splash shield, the fan housing, and damage the bottom of the radiator on our Benz....it took $2300 to fix it...

Well I took some cleaner to the black marks and most of them came off. Found the fog lamp in the inner fender well and it snap back into place.

The only thing I had to replace was the fog lamp bulb.

I'm a happy camper
