Sorry, I'm sure missing Ms. Sunflowerhippi. It's a El Camino SS but so far the current owner still does, not sure he really want's to sell it. I need some thing to haul small stuff with. Used to have a j40 landcrusier with a 454 it was a wheelie doing monster, don't want to feed the big block.

But the El Camino is so much lighter...... Gear it right and it will exceed the speed limit at idle.

Just as long as you realize it isn't an "SS" Sam(and never will be), its probably a good parts runner/everyday pick 'em up truck. SS El Camino's in the fifth generation body style were only made between 1984 and 1987 by Choo-Choo Customs Inc., of Chattanooga, Tennessee...then retailed through Chevy dealers.

Chances are it started out life with either a 3.8L V-6 or the 305 V-8, if you go to see it in person check the rocker panels and frame rails very carefully for rust, these rot like mad.

Found another one a 86 maybe it is a real one, pretty much just a badge on these isn't it ?
