Meh, it almost 80 here today. Feels more like burger weather than turkey. A week ago, it was in the 50s, and I would have been much more into it.
In general, though, I like the idea of an October Thanksgiving better than a November one, because it's closer to the actual harvest season, and much easier for far-flung families to get back together. We have had some very snowy Thanksgivings in the past where people spent long hours sitting on the Ohio Turnpike, the 401, and others, just waiting to get through. Not that the US would ever move it, of course. I'm just dreaming...

Yep, seems like you stock up on food expecting them to eat like a horde of locusts, and that's when they are all on a "diet"...so when the leave you now have enough food to feed the Chinese army for a week. UGH!
