How about mounting a Civil War era Rodman or Parrot cannon on a highway rated carriage and using grape shot, imagine the fun you'd have blasting 50-75 1" iron balls out of a 15" bore canon in one shot.
Not only wouldn't the Zombies have time to rally their troops with the battle call of "Brains!", they wouldn't know what hit them.

Even though the gun is fired with just a powder charge at reenactments, the muzzle blast alone would kill you out to about 50 yards.
We have taken it to a private range and let loose some proper cannon balls, its hard to imagine the carnage inflicted by that weapon during the war, until you see what terrible destruction is wreaked by one round.
