Had a buddy who owned a gas station in the early 90's, back then he cleared about 7 cents a gallon profit for himself, not sure what its like now. The reason most gas stations look like supermarkets these days is because they make their money on food and assorted other things, the pumps out front are almost an afterthought.
I keep thinking that when those kids get old enough she should hire them out as a NASCAR pit crew, just the right number. I can see it now..."And its another blazing 8 second stop by the Octo Crew getting Dale Jr. back out in front!".
