Talk about rubbing salt on the wound, and by the home town team to make it so much worse!!!

So yeah my day is just going so fun. Figured I would rant here instead of the what did you do thread. Mike, lol I am sure you will get a laugh at this all. After all that talk this morning. So I drove about 20 miles to a friends house, got there no problem. Left there with him to take to bank and then go eat (he has a broken foot so I said i'd drive today) and when we went to leave the bank reduced engine power. Limped it for about 3 miles back to a pizza place to call GM tow. Found out they only will tow to the closest dealership, 8 miles. My dealership was 34 miles from where I was. So I had to hang up and thankfully had AAA who would tow to the dealership for free. I had called my rep at the dealership before the tow so thankfully they had a rental all ready, and even vacumed out for me this time and not nasty. So now back to no having my car this month. I have had it for 12 days this month.

I asked the watress for a bottle of vodka, didn't drink any though. I am sure GM already thought I was drunk because of the almost mental break down / couldn't stop laughing when I called them.

Sorry Miss S. but I had a feeling you'd be needing AAA, not psychic or anything, but a little voice told me you'd end up needing a tow truck. Makes you really wonder what's going to happen next, doesn't it?

I know what will happen next more electrical failure and more tows being needed. And in a few days more screaming at GM since my warenty is over in a couple days. I can't even drive my girls anywhere during the work day with the HHR once I go back to work tomorow because I can't trust the HHR.

I am kinda liking my altima rental, might go look at the v6 coupe this weekend. The only nice things about rentals it is like a long test drive with a bunch of cars.

Its bad when you can't trust a vehicle anymore, I'd hate to see you leave the HHR family for something else, but honestly Julie...I can't and wouldn't blame you if you did.

I'd get on the GM zone rep about this deal to make sure every effort is made to correct things before the warranty goes away.

It sounds like you have a lemon...... OR the dealer(s) is/are an idiot! As far as the end of warranty goes, anything documented, that they haven't fixed properly yet, should continue to be covered.

Yeah we already filed breach of warrenty, GM settled and I am waiting for the check but that was done prior to all these new electrical issues. And in PA since it was used I can't do the whole lemon / buy back option.

Right now it seems that i had an electrical short and it is slowly breaking each part one after another. I have went through wastegate, ECM, Mass Airflow, and now whatever it is in for this trip.
