Scratchpad!
Hmmm, the mystery deepens. Has the dealer ever checked the alternator out, just a possibility here, but if the diodes are shot it could be overcharging the system and damaging all sorts of components.
No idea if they checked it. It keeps going in with so many codes it seems they are just fixing the codes mostly. Last time they checked to make sure no other wires were torn apart as a few of mine were frayed. I am hoping to hear something back from them later tonight.
Keep us posted Julie, it sounds like they're just throwing parts at it instead of doing any real diagnostics, they're hoping they find the problem by accident rather than going about it the right way.
Got the call last night, was the throttle position sensor this time that went bad. Didn't say anything about it shorting though so hopefully it is a non electrical related problem.
And yes they are at this point just throwing parts at it, lol. It is always there, the last time they kept it a few extra days trying to find any other noticable wire issues and didn't find anymore so hopefully it is solved too.

Mikie thats not funny, but probably great advice. I'm hopeing you never need to pull it out Sunflower, but do you have them in your Favorite five?? Really you need to get out and rip up some nice curvy roads along the beach , like I did today it was fun.
I have been following along. It's not right they out to fix it she bought a very low mile car it should be right. They are so much fun when they run properly. Sunflower has been way more patient than I would have been by now (is arson legal?)
She deserves a few smooth SS thrills, maybe this time?
