Arrow Sonic pricing released....

Chevrolet has released pricing on its new "Itty Bitty Bow Tie" for 2012, not that we'll all be running out with our checkbooks, at least the Sonic is an improvement on the Aveo. Link Follows....

I find it interesting that the shorter hatchback is more money than the sedan, it used to be you saved money by going with the dinky hatchback version of an economy car.

The speedo is a copy of a snowmobile/bike speedo. That is why it looks so close.

This is saving money. Not much else out there for less that you would want to buy. Little Tikes but little eles. Keep in mind the average price of a new car is now $30K.

One thing GM can really push is this will be the only car in it's class that is made in America. In fact Michigan. GM should do well with this. It is not the highest quality car but for it's class it is at the top.

It's a nice looking car, leaps and bounds better than the Aveo. This market segment is really starting to take hold here in the states with higher fuel costs. They are just dang small is all...not sure I could go for it.

At least it looks better than the Ford "Fiasco". I see those around town lately, and god are those things ugly. Why would anyone buy that garbage?? Good God.... While I kinda think the Sonic is "too small," it definitely is a drastic improvement over the current Aveo. And at least this "Sonic" is built in the US. If I recall correctly, the current Aveo is really a Daewoo. I know a lot of people think the name is dumb, but I still think Sonic is a better name than Aveo. Some people say "ah-vay-oh", some people say "a-vee-oh". Aveo is actually a pretty dumb name itself if you ask me.
