Sorry have to say this

I have been debating with myself as to if I should toss my 2 cents in or not. But I think I might. I am all for freedom of speech for ALL. I did my time in the army so that we all have that right. And I once again will say ALL. The same goes for freedom to practice or not practice any religion they want or to vote or not vote anyway they want. My problem is that it seems if someone does not feel the same way they are wrong. My point is more directed towards the Christian groups out there and not just on this board. Now most of you do not know me so you have no clue about my background and it will stay that way. But why is it if you do not believe the same way as Christians you are wrong? They are the first ones to complain about being offend by someone and turn around and preach religion to you. Now the question is those of you that complain about being offend, turn around and offended others but think it is ok. How do you know there are not Muslims members on this site? Jewish? You don’t, or seem to care. I just think before you judge someone for being offensive you might want to think before you say something. Now before anyone goes and starts thinking I am taking captain howdy’s side in this I am only agreeing with part of what he said. How he said it is what he should have thought out and watched his choice of words, and it looked like he went back and did that. At the same time everyone jumped on him and once again judging him because of his temper. I know he does not need know one to stick up for him or take his side.
I just wish that a few others would also think before they go off on people because they do not believe the same things they do, I just wonder what would happen if I stated posting symbols of my could be my religion? I am sure it would make people complain.

I am sure this will offend someone SORRY if it does, but at the same time it will make me say “HMMM”

Now that I have that off my chest feel free to cuss at me beat me whip me kick me what ever you choose. I am sure this will be locked before I have time to even finish reading all the bashing I will take.

EDIT: Mods if you want feel free to lock as I know you will do if you feel this is out of control

I read the post, i am not religious but raised a baptist, i thought the 'poem' was funny, and quite truthfull, I agree Christmas has become very commercialized, and i'm against everyone that trys to take 'Christmas' out of the holiday. I hate cities that change their Christmas parades to Holiday parades.... i think it is ridiculous.

If you read CH`s post before it was closed, it is not a Christian holiday, Christ was added. In America, Christmas is a retail holiday.
It`s not about love thy neighbor, it`s spend your cash...

As a business owner I can tell you that not everyone here in the USA, thinks of Christmas as a big payday. I have let my crew every year, use a voluntary sign-up sheet to work a short shift on Christmas eve. (we have never been open) I have the day reserved as a closed day. I also give all of my employees Christmas day off with pay. I am old school in my way of thinking, but I care for all of my crew and their familys. Religion is in your heart and your actions, not just the keyboard.

I support CH's right to say anything he wants.... but same time support everyones else's right to say what they want.... I still call it Christmas, I want a Cross on my tombstone in a National Cemetary, I think the Ten Commandments should be allowed in courthouses, and Gays should have something equivalent to Marriage, and i'll fly the Rebel Flag when i want to, that doesnt make me Religious or Rascist. Just makes me ME.
