50 Year custom's I see at shows, are all NEW drive-train, frames, interiors, paint, etc.... Yes, there would not be a warranty, per say, but the 30 grand you save, could be your warranty and plenty for a year or two, maybe more.

Basically, I was pointing out that the above mentioned truck, is a street rod/custom, someone is trying to mass produce. But, there is a market out there for Street Rods, going to shows & finding builders, or build one!!! My bet, is that for $55,000 you could find a project truck and even farm out a lot of the work and have your own custom truck.

Interesting venture, not sure about pricepoint and demand!!!
