With all due respect, the article and several people talked about an "SS" before you. So I guess you're not first.

You also, had to many "if's" in your posts to have a "inside track"!!!!

No, because.....

GM has no engineering in Detroit. Detroit has the "number crunchers and pencil pushers", basically administrative, who only guess most of the time. That is why GM is in the trouble they are in. GM need's vehicle and engineeering people to run the company!!!

Lund may help, but that remains to be seen (oh, I'm from the first group with vehicle interests).

And understand, I am not saying GM will not introduce an "SS" version. I know too much about this company to say NEVER. But as I was told, "...only about 12-15 people in the entire corporation know exactly what, when, how and how much a vehicle will be introduced for".

 

My "inside contacts" have told me that the "SS" actually stands for "SoCal Special."
