St Louis area needs prayers

We were very lucky but so many families need prayers.

So far there are reports of 12 tornados, nothing official yet, touching down in the St' Louis metro area. St. Louis Interntional Airport is closed and will stay closed for days. Mass destruction, but thankfully no reports of any fatalities.

God was watching over so many people. Several churches were hit while Good Friday services were going on.

We were at church when a report of a tornado was spotted 1 mile away. The staff was great and got everyone move to safety quickly.

Mike- That is bad, seems many, many other areas have been /are getting hammered as well.. From the extreme North thru the deep South..

This seems to be a very active Severe weather season (so far)..

My Thoughts & Prayers go out to All impacted & /or have lost loved ones.

I grew up in Oklahoma and have seen my share of tornados as they were occurring, and the aftermath of the worst of them (including the 1999 Moore Oklahoma F5+, which left a quarter to half mile swath of truely bare earth from Moore to almost the Kansas border to the northeast). I respect the weather, and commiserate with the families who lost property and loved ones. Hang in there, St. Louis! Hope everyone on the board, and their family and friends is OK.

Yes, way too many reports like this on the news lately. My prayers are with everyone who has had to endure such tragedy and loss.

The unofficial word from the national weather service is that the was a single tornado that had a path ~20 miles long which was estimated to be a F4 at Lambert airport, that's over 166mph winds. Truyl an amazing miracle that no one was killed or even sustain serious injured!
