Well folks, it's Stampede time again. The city of Calgary stops all day to day activities to party for 10 days and return to our country routes. The mass influx of toursists began earlier this week and the city is bursting at the seams. Today is parade day and the official kick off to all the festivities.

If you've never heard or been up to the Stampede I recommend putting it on your to do list.

Anything like "Running with the Bulls" in Pamplona?

Some of the rodeo stuff gets pretty crazy, nothing like running with bulls in Spain although I do remember them doing a similar event a couple of years ago in the nearby town of Strathmore. Don't know if it still happens, I'd assume no.
