Strange Food Concoctions

Just wondering what is some of the weird stuff you eat together. One of my dads favorite things is a glass of Milk, Bread, and Sugar! YUCK. Now he's a diabetic so he eats just bread and milk. He also puts Jelly on his hambuger and hotdogs. Can't say too much here since Grape Jelly is a secret ingredient to good Meatballs. I myself like the balance of sweet and salty so I like canned peaches with Ritz crackers. Strawberry Shortcake but not with poundcake. Make it with biscuits. YUUMMM!

My grandmother used to eat peanut butter and mayonnaise sandwiches. I myself have personally used barbecue sauce as a pasta sauce, cooked my Thanksgiving turkey after a mesquite flavoring rubdown, included the leftovers from said Thanksgiving in omelettes, and included American cheese slices in PB&J's.

EDIT: I almost forgot, my father-in-law likes to eat sticks of butter wrapped in flour tortillas (basically a butter burrito).

This will sound familiar to Canadians.

I would fry (without any oil) in a pan North End Steak (Winnipeggers will know what that is... bologna to everyone else). When it gets really cooked, put a slice of cheese on each and stack them on white bread and enjoy.

Believe me, it it tasty.

Actually, that doesn't sound too bad. The uniquely Canadian thing I don't understand is poutine, actually.

When I was a kid we had bread with butter and sugar as a reward. My grandmother brought that from Ireland. I also love my strawberries on biscuits, but I have never heard of jelly on a burger or a hot dog......that sounds .....to be nice..gross! My personal fav is mayo on any sandwich that has meat in it.

Just thought of something else I ate as a kid that some think was strange. Mix peanut butter with pancake syrup and spread on toast then sprinkle with sugar. Talk about sweeeet.
