hmmm, I've heard of cocoa in chili but never brown sugar.

Years ago when my Son was a kid he always liked to gross everyone out at Thanksgiving by putting mustard on his turkey!

Thats a new one though I do put mustard on a turkey sandwich. When we do a ham we baste it in Mustard/Beer sauce!

i have my grandmothers old cast iron pot,just a tinge of surface rust for flavor. I use roasted red peppers and chipotle tabasco for heat. The brown sugar adds a nice sweet taste before the peppers warm it up on the way down. About a cup for a medium sized pot does the trick.

I put gumbo on my HHR interior...a bad combination !!! The remaining gumbo was really good though...
