Thomas Paine message??

Received this in an e-mail. Thought it is kind of interesting. Wonder who is REALLY behind it.

Interesting video. So much passion went into what was put together. It would be nice to see a lot more people with some sort of passion in their lives whether it be political, occupational, family or anything else.

I'd have to disagree with the beginning where it discusses multiculturalism. I think it works pretty well up here in Canada. We've always been taught and I've also believed that we are a multicultural nation and that's what makes us strong and brings us together. I believe it works here. I have no problem with people from other backgrounds celebrating their beliefs or living under their own traditional backgrounds as long as they up hold the laws of the nation.

The message IS common sense, or at least it was at one time. Unfortunately, most schools don't teach much about government and US history so there is a lot of ignorance about how our system works. As we allow the "elites" to nibble away at our freedoms and beliefs we all lose.

My father came from Europe knowing NO english. He didn't expect anyone to learn his language here so he didn't have to learn english. He took night school to learn english and loved this country. All he wanted was what the US offered- a chance to work, earn a living and have a few things.
