Toms 26 T project
Looks great!! Of course, I totally agree with your engine choice. The LS1 in my old 1935 sedan has been performing beautifully for 6 years now.
If you get tired of it and go to a 6.0L...I have a new pair of L92 heads and a matching carb manifold for them. That combo can make 500 RWHP easy and still idle like a Swiss watch. Before the economy crashed I was going to build a "big" LS for my hot rod.
That T should FLY!!!

The 5.3 is turning into a crate engine for swapping. Ok so you can get them for 350.00 and the 6.0 is currently selling for close to 1200.00 right now.
If I was to run the suggested cam and a 650 cfm carb I am told the combination will show 427 hp on a dyno (source - Speedway motors).

In the trailer shots you can really see how long the wheelbase is. I am used to the rear axle being at the back of the T body. Are you going with a pick-up back, or just a fuel tank back there? You could get a Tudor body on that chassis! there are a couple tudor's around here that are about 3 feet from pavement to roof. Great work so far!!! Great wheel choice!
