just watched the whole thing...good Lord those cars are fast...176mph in a standing mile...on salt. completely production spec'd and trimmed...
and the Challenger and Caddy are astounding as well. i'm still not overly crazy about the Challenger (not different enough from the rest of dodge's line-up IMO, identical interior to every other model, plus absurly expensive when compared to other cars, especially new Camaro SS with the same level of power, but far greater handling), but it is impressive in it's own way. now that CTS-V...holy crap...these two gems from GM make me even more proud of my three bowties in the driveway.

Clarkson ended that video on a postive not on the cars..However shortly after that taping he wrote this in an article....
I spent most of my time in America this time in a new Corvette ZR1. It is a fabulous car. Mesmerisingly fast, good looking and amazing value. But after three days the damn thing was beginning to disintegrate. It made me growl with annoyance and despair.
