9-11-01...no war in Iraq or Afganistan...New York is attacked...then we take the fight to the Middle East and no more attacks...I do believe that the Sears Tower still stands...I do believe that would be in no small way attributed to improved intelligence gathering capabilities in the Middle East...hmmm aided by our presence in their backyard...WMD...17 months of delaying tactics by "deadman hanging's regime"...I am sure that no weapons went across the desert to Syria...Gee, while we were there in '91 they buried Migs to hide them...Iraq is in the news today North Korea tomorrow, but I am sure there are those uniformed who will say that it is the United States looking for a fight..
Cut and Run is the new in vogue term, wanna' say regime change??? Military history will continue to repeat itself, start the job and the politicians and the people without the resolve to finish the job force an end before the job is complete, then in time we will have to return to the issue to finally put it to bed... I served too...in two combat operations, as an Infantryman...boots on the ground, keeping you safe and sound...

 

..and I sleep well at night because of those that serve tomorrow, today and yesturday.
