Working 9-5. I'm gonna miss all of the "festivities" but at least we'll be able to have food on the table the following week

Talking

So far, just the wife & me. But some friends are likely to stop over.

Bird is in the big freezer.. Wife is one great cook..

After, we sometimes make some home-made ice cream..

If we don't OD on turkey & all the fixins..

Been to the National Day Of Mourning at the Massasoit Statue on Cole's Hill overlooking Plymouth Rock a few times in the 90's to show support.
State troopers beat a few people and sprayed mace in some kids' and elders' eyes among others the year after the last time I was there.

I'm doing a traditional Lakota sweatlodge this weekend with some friends.
The water pourer is a Sundancer and pipe-carrier for Lakota Nation.
It's been a long time and I'm looking forward to it.
I can pay my respects then and probably won't get beaten or maced.

I go along with the family just to celebrate a family get-together on Turkey Day.
This year we're eating out at Barber's Crossing in Sterling Mass again.

Great feast, friendly service, informal and good company.

Added plans to spend Thanksgiving Day with Chris' mom so it's shaping up to be a very full Holiday Weekend.
