For anyone who will be in or near the Florida panhandle on April 14th and 15th, Eglin AFB will host one of the best air shows available. I've attended this one and the annual shows at NAS Pensacola many times and both are great events. You should also be able to find some inexpensive hotel rooms up in Crestview if you don't want to pay premium prices at the beach.

How far south?

 

I'm going to Naples to watch my niece play her last few high school softball games. It's a two-day tournament so I can't even guess when the games will be scheduled.
