Didn't find it in NY. My dad bought it brand new at Hesser Chevrolet in PA in April of 1987. My memories of it go back to the proud day he brought it home. It's been garaged throughout its entire existence. He sold it to me back in 2002 since I practically forbade him to sell it to a stranger. Before he passed on, I promised I'd keep it in the family. My 18 year old daughter now has her sights on it. She's impressed by the sound of that throaty V8 as well as the metal lower dash and vent windows. It will undoubtedly be hers someday. My 21 year old son wants the HHR SS (and he'll get it as well).
