I'm back! Did ya miss me? Heck did ya even notice I vanished yesterday?

Well we had a wayward car take out a utility pole near our condo complex last night at 7pm and suddenly we went all "Gilligan's Island".....no phone, no lights, no DSL, not a single luxury!

Danged inconvenient to suddenly be plunged into darkness, and as usual, the flashlights were in the darkest room of the condo, so there was some stumbling about and swearing as the furniture found soft spots like shins.

As to the occupants of the wayward car, they were unhurt, always amazing how the ratio of alcohol consumed multiplied by the size of the "Hooptie", usually allows the people to walk away after turning 60 feet of pole into toothpicks. Go figure huh?

 

Wondered where you went... figured you were off on a Pants Safari

 

That might have been fun, but a romantic candlelit night with my lovely wife was very nice.

 

I tried asking Andrew where you were, but all he did was laugh and mutter something about you being sucked into a black hole then something having to put on a pair of pants he found... then something about being late for a date with SIRI.

 

I thought those two might be seeing each other, but you know those "Cross Brands" romances are always doomed to fail.

 

Why didn't you make batteries out of coconuts like the Professor would have?

 

Must be Andrew, haven't been able to find Siri all afternoon. Those were simpler times, can I get an Amen out there ?
