This post got changed before i hit the submit reply button, I had graphic immages put in and decided it was way to innapropriate content. My best friend served as Chief Nurse in a Bagdad Triage center, intensive care unit. I have pics of some truly grusome stuff... mainly innocent people injured by insurgent troops, and childern injured or killed by IED. If for no other reason than protecting these people, we need to be there. I'll not post here or read this post again because it just stirs way to strong of emotions.

I'll just ask this of you all... Support the troops over in all of the Foreign countries, weather you support the war or not. THEy need it more then anyone here in the states right now.

Other Countries Fought For The Usa A Long-long Time Ago!

If you comment keep them non argumentative and try to stay on the main topic. I'll keep the poll anonymous so you will just appear as a figure in the poll with no screen name shown so you can voice your opinion if you don't want it to be known. As most of you know I don't support us being there.

I myself agree that we have overstayed. I do have empathy for the Iraqi people, they do deserve freedoom, but at what cost to them and us if they don"t appreciate it? I also agree that Afganistan was justified, after all Osama was the one behind 9/11 not Sadam, believe me I am not saddened by the fact that that tyrant is gone, he was a monster!
I do believe he had WMD he just got rid or hid them (after all we did give him plenty of notice we were coming). I say we need to start getting out of there, it seems the longer we stay the more they rely on our troops to TRY and keep peace. I agree we need to help other countries, but we cannot stay there forever, they need to start relying on their own people to realize that peace is the only way to have any kind of stablization.

I would rather see us begin a phased draw down of forces and be out completely handing it over to the Iraqis by year's end. I would rather see the outlays of money and resources that we have been pouring into Iraq be put to use within the USA and also for building goodwill in Central America and South America. Also, I would like to see the southern border with Mexico brought under control.

The headline in today's paper says that Gen. Petraeus thinks a stable Iraq is a decade away! Whoopee! That's about the same as saying no one knows when, if ever, it will be stable.

Either stand behind the military or do us a big favor and stand in front of them!

Support both and get it done the right way, not cut and run...surge worked, now let's apply same strategy to those Taliban bums

I have been there and have seen both the eyes of the Soldiers we send to war, and also the eyes of the Iraqi people we're attempting to help.

I am confident that what we are doing there is the right thing. Their gov't is corrupt, that's the main problem we still need to fix in my opinion.
