El REY...Like I said before..everyone's entitled to their own opinion. I don't have to agree with you.

I absolutely knew that El rey would get into this debate. He has very strong feelings about his illusions.

But 3 "things" El rey....

People do not believe people who present their arguement in an INCOHERENT way. People that present an argument that can spell, use punctuation and capitalization show more intelligence than those that don't and just ramble. Thus, they command the attention of others as trustworthy(basic psychology) and are listened to.

El rey... experts from demolition and civil engineering from all over the world have reviewed the collapse of the towers. They all, with a few small exceptions, agree with the findings. The "experts" you THINK you are quoting are a minor few and are self serving.

Anyone that needs to quote a comedian for a political discussion, is a little out of touch...and holds very little credibility.

I'm sorry if this seems like a personal attack. It is not meant to be. But I can't, as well as many others, put much interest into an opposing position, if it's not coherent...especially from a teacher. I'd be willing to listen, absorb and possibly change my position. But not when it's done stupidly.

But, the real issue here is to the post regarding the DVD "Loose Change". As far as the factual content of that piece of "genius"....even the organizations that severely question the standing explanation of the Twin Towers incident have publically rebuked it. They themselves disproved many things in the "Loose Change" DVD. As a result the creaters redid and re-released it with corrections. They were attacked again for serious mistakes and mistatements. So they redid and rereleased a third version. That is being criticized by the independent committees WHO take the position that WE, THE AMERICAN PEOPLE, WERE NOT TOLD THE TRUTH ABOUT THE TOWERS COLLAPSE. So, the point is.....How much influence can this DVD truely have if the originators had not had the intelligence to check their facts before the DVD issue (think CBS). Then make serious mistakes on 2 more reissues....terrible credibility.

At least in the instance of "Loose Change", it appears to be "bunk" and self serving. Something to earn money.....because many people ARE looking for answers.

And, based on what was posted and discussed by the OP...he has one of the first versions..................which has been shown, by people, groups and committees WHO DO WANT THE TRUTH, that assertions made are highly questionable, outright incorrect, without substance and possess little, if any, merit.

Oh excuse, please any mistakes in my commentary, I'm on a low sugar kick.

Hey Goose.....

Regarding the structure of the Towers. Did you know they were the ONLY buildings of that kind and built with that method? So I wonder how all the "outside experts" on demolition and construction faults, could give their opinion. They had NEVER experienced another building collapse like that.

One more interesting point about Loose Change - the writers had intended to write a fictional story about the 9/11 terrorist attacks being 'an inside job'. These loonies were able to twist facts in their own twisted minds that made them actually start to believe it was true. That is how Loose Change came to be. And as already mentioned, each subsequent version of it is has less and less 'proof' of their 'findings' and more backsliding. Their goal was not to enlighten the American public but to scare them and harm our government, while also making themselves famous. The name Michael Moore also comes to mind in this analogy.

Another example of Liberal pandering is the new Oliver Stone movie simply titled 'Bush: The Movie'. He admits that it is a work of fiction and takes some outrageous 'artistic license' with events in the lives of George W. Bush and his father... Yet, he also is working hours on end with no sleep so that he can get this piece of trash out before the November elections! Why/ There is no Bush involved in this election. He simply wants to trash President Bush, and therefore the Republican Party, so he can hopefully further his Liberal agenda.

Amazing the impact film makers can have on the public. Even when they admit it is fiction, a certain number of people believe it. When they try to disguise fiction as fact, an even larger number seem to fall for it instead of looking at their reasons for what they do.

bad idea in the first place.... 4000+ american solders have died... 40,000+ wounded, many injured for life... maybe a million (haven t looked in about 4 months) Iraqie civilians have died that would not have died if we weren t there. 10 billion dollars a month...

when we can no longer take the time to say the names of the servicemen killed it is time to leave.

my nephew joined the tx national guard as heavy truck mech.. leaves next month for his FORTH tour IN Iraq... i m in tears worring about him.

as one decorated serviceman said to congress about 40 yrs ago... "no one wants to be the last one to die in a bad war"

almost everyone that got us into this are no longer around... why

You obviously have never been to a real crash site. I did that job in the Navy and what they found is consistent with what I have seen at four crash sites. I am going to stay out of the rest of this because I am very torn on the subject. I have a 15 year old boy I do not want to see in the military, especially relying on a CONGRESS with a 9% approval rating and weighing every decision based on polls and political ramifications. I will let the historians debate right and wrong. I would like to thank all who serve or have served in the past for giving all of us the freedom to have and share our opinions openly and freely.

Anything that keeps the war on their land and not ours is a good thing.

Huge thanks to those who VOLUNTEERED to fight in Iraq and Afghanistan to keep our country free of terrorists. Our men and women who serve are some of the greatest people on the planet. Willing to risk their lives so this generation and the next will live with liberty and freedom.

I'd like to make an effort to explain my position, which I only hinted at, in my post.

I have serious questions regarding the Towers incident, the explanation of how and why it occurred, on the start of the Iraq war and lastly, the continued effort of that war.

But, absent of any intelligent explanation, argument, AND EVIDENCE to the contrary, I accept the present AND ACCEPTED explanations of our standing government.

I am subject to change, however.
