Watch out for turkeys...
Watch out for turkeys...
This morning I let the dog out in the yard to do her business...
I usually open the door, turn on the light, inhale to make sure it is safe ...
No smell its ok ... Let her out and she promptly takes off diagonally across the yard. I step out to see the rabbit chase ... What the hell is that
... No rabbit ... I shake the sleep from my eyes ... Kinda looks like a turkey ... A black and white turkey ...
OH CRAP
... Tara leave it... TARA LEAVE IT ... TARA COME HERE ... Too late ... She chased it out of the yard then promptly came back wanting to go in the house... NO freakin' way.
Went to the 24 hour ACME ... to get tomato juice. Found out the 24 hour ACME is only 24 hours between 6:00AM Monday thru 11:00PM Saturday with Sunday hours... F'in ACME. Went to 7-11 and paid thu the nose for tomato juice. Got the wife to give the dog a shower with the tomato juice (PROPS to the wife for doing that
.) Then after we dried the dog, she goes around the house and does the squiggly on the carpet with the wife following her with the febreeze. Found out the dog actually likes the smell of febreeze
soak a washcloth with febreeze and rub the dog down. Will find out later how bad it really (still) is.
Moral of the story is... WATCH OUT FOR TURKEYS
